With the Labeled Graphic interaction, you can explain the structure of a complex device or a piece of equipment, showcase product characteristics, or show your employees how a new software program works.

This interaction represents an image with labeled objects. When a labeled object is clicked on, a detailed description of this specific image area appears. It can contain not only text, but also images, audio, a video, symbols, and equations.

Adding Images

By default, there is already an image in place when you create a new Labeled Graphic interaction. To change it, click the Change Picture button on the toolbar. You can paste an image from the clipboard or select a file on your computer.

Alternatively, you can change the main interaction picture in the editor area. Click the Change button beneath the preview image at the bottom right and choose where to upload the picture from: From File or From Clipboard.

iSpring Visuals supports all popular image formats: .bmp, .gif, .pg, .png, .tiff, .wdp.

You can add an unlimited number of images.

Adding Labels

  1. To add a new label, click the Add label button on the toolbar.

  2. A new label will appear on the image and in the list of labels. Drag it to an appropriate location on the image. You can move the label to any other location at any time.

  3. Enter the label title and description. The users will see them when they click on the selected label. 

  4. Choose the visual appearance of the label: its color and style. To do this, click the Marker Color and Marker Style buttons on the Label Graphic tab on the toolbar.

  5. Add extra content to the label description: imagesvideosan audio trackrich text, characters, a background or objects. To do this, go to the Insert tab and select the option you need. To make the tab appear, place the cursor into the label description area.

    You can add an unlimited number of labels.


Arranging Labels

The order presented in the Labels list will be the order the users see the labels in when navigating inside the interaction using the navigation buttons (Next and Previous).

To change the order of the labels, select a label and drag it along the Labels list to place it in another position. To select more labels at once, hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard and select the steps. 

You can move the labels using the Move up and Move down buttons in the context menu. To open the context menu, right-click the step in the Labels list.

Duplicating Labels

To create a duplicate of a label, click the Duplicate button in the context menu. A label with the same name, description, and position will appear on the image and in the list.

Deleting Labels

To remove a label, select it and click the Delete button under the Label Graphic tab of the toolbar, on the keyboard or in the context menu.

Adding Introduction and Summary

To add an introduction and a summary to your interaction, tick the boxes above and below the labels in the Labels list.

Add a title and a description to the introduction and the summary in the editing area.
